Divination – Explanation, Uses, and Common Types

Divination is a common tool used by both witchy and non-witchy people. It is often seen in pop culture as crystal ball readers, fortune tellers, and psychics. While those representations are not always accurate, they do hold some merit and are a great way to spark conversations of divination. Today I'll be getting into what divination actually is, how it works, reasons to use it, and types of divination. What is divination and how does it work? Contrary to what is seen in pop culture, divination is not all about "fortune telling" or seeing your future. It is about looking…

Norse Mythology – Basics

Norse mythology is a huge topic. This is only going to be a brief introduction to its structure, deities, and stories. I'm going to do my best keep things fairly simple today. I'm still learning and clarifying things for myself, so don't expect perfection! My main sources at the moment are Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology and Dr. Jackson Crawford's YouTube channel. About Me and My Pagan Mess

Hello! Welcome to my very first post on my new blog! If you haven’t already guessed from the tittle, I am Pagan. And I am also a mess. Not only can I not seem to keep anything in my house clean or remember where I need to be and when, I also have no idea what type of pagan I am. My beliefs are way up in the air and I’m okay with that right now. At least I know I’m pagan! It’s a good start but it’s taken me a while to get there. Here’s the story of my…
